In the Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing operations strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, enhances operational efficiency, and supports revenue growth.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined processes, workflows, and best practices to enhance marketing operations, campaign execution, and marketing ROI.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology solutions and platforms, such as marketing automation, CRM, and other tools to support efficient real time and data-driven marketing operations for long term growth and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop integrated marketing plans, manage campaign calendars, allocate resources, and ensure timely and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategies for channel management, including SMS, mobile messaging, and email to enable and optimize customer engagement and campaign effectiveness. Ensure proper coordination, integration, and consistency across these channels, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to drive personalized and impactful messaging. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement continuous improvements to maximize channel ROI.
  • Define OKRs and implement appropriate performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to provide insights into effectiveness, ROI, and opportunities for improvement for marketing and communications operations. Coordinate with product, engineering and analytics to assign/maintain standardized tagging and reporting of digital (online/mobile) marketing assets to ensure end-to-end funnel tracking of marketing campaigns
  • Develop and manage the marketing operations budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources, cost control, and efficient use of funds to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing operations team, providing mentorship, coaching, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Mitigate risks associated with marketing campaigns and initiatives. Includes assigning, deploying and managing cookie classification in accordance with CPRA
  • Offer enablement/fulfillment – operationalize customer limited time offers/incentives/referral payouts, including management of rewards inventory, vendor management, and customer issues resolution
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing operations team, providing mentorship, coaching, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in marketing operations, marketing technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in defining marketing operational processes within Adobe Campaign
  • Knowledge and prior experience with CDP
  • Previous experience with Journey Orchestration and similar tools (e.g., Kitewheel, Journey Builder, Journey Optimizer, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, processes, and best practices, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and marketing automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing marketing operations, improving efficiency, and implementing marketing technology solutions to drive measurable results.
  • Expertise in marketing technology platforms, such as marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and attribution tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive successful cross-functional collaboration.
